You’ll visit historic structures and discover how the Minshall, Painter, and Tyler families used the land and left a lasting legacy - including a remarkable collection of trees planted by the Painter brothers. Travel over 260 years of history and uncover how Tyler’s past continues to shape its present.
What to expect:
- Canceled 48 hours in advance if inclement weather, all registrants will be contacted
- Max one-mile hike on mostly even ground, some uphill
- Check in at the Visitor Center, where you'll meet your guide

- Shoes suitable for walking
Pricing: FREE for members; FREE with admission for non-members
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
MEMBERS: FREE
NON-MEMBERS: $18 per adult; $15 per senior (65 and over);$10 per teen ages 12-17. The fee includes admission, so feel free to stay for the day after the program! Teens must be accompanied by a registered adult.
GUEST PASS HOLDERS: (for non-members only): FREE. Please give your guest passes to the Visitor Center Associate at check-in, or inform them that you are accompanying a Family or higher-level member as their guest. This program is free with your guest pass admission, so feel free to stay as long as you'd like after the program!
