Bear Cub Scouts Fur, Feathers and Ferns

We will start our adventure with a 1 mile hike and talk about signs of animal life along the way using binoculars and magnifying glasses to look up close and far away.  Following the hike we will stop at Tyler’s new Edible Garden to look at plants closely and learn about our composting system.  This unique experience of hiking in the woods and visiting a real vegetable garden will help you become a nature expert! (Open to Bear Cub Scouts)

What to Wear: 

All programs are hands on and take place outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes appropriate for hiking, as there may be muddy or rocky areas. Please do not wear flip flops, sandals or high heels.
