Bluebird Nesting Box Tour

This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday June 18

1:00 PM  –  2:00 PM

FOR ALL AGES

For more than fifty years, volunteers at Tyler Arboretum have been monitoring the nesting activities of the Eastern Bluebird.  Please join us on this family-friendly tour to share this tradition.  We will walk the succession field and check on quite a few bluebird boxes.  We expect to see bluebirds, active nests of bluebirds and other cavity-nesting birds, eggs, and young nestlings!  We will be walking on grassy fields, so bug spray is recommended.

Please check in first at the Visitor Center patio window by 1 pm, where you'll then meet your tour guide.

Members: Adults: $5 each; Youth ages 3-17: $3 each (sign in for your discount!); children ages two and under are free

Non-members: $21 per adult; $13 per child ages 3-17; children ages two and under are free.  The non-member fee includes admission to Tyler for the day, so stay as long as you'd like!  Children must be accompanied by an adult; the fee is for each adult and each child.

Guest Pass Holders: $5 each (Please give the Visitor Center Associate your guest pass at check-in.)
