Celebrate Earth Day: Story Time with Miss Louisa, Session 2

This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday April 23

11:30 AM  –  12:30 PM

Suitable for ages 4-7 with one free accompanying adult

Are you looking for ways to increase your child's awareness of the natural world? Miss Louisa will be sharing two stories about bats, followed by a bat puppet craft. Join her on the patio at Lachford Hall for some interactive fun.

Story one: Winter is coming, and Bat needs to find a home. He finds a perfect place, but there's a problem. Where Bat wants to live is already occupied by a not so very friendly squirrel. A series of misunderstandings do not help the situation. Will Bat be left out in the cold?

Story two: Amara loves bats. She loves learning about them, and she especially loves watching them fly near her house. Amara is distraught when she and her family move to a new house, and there aren’t any bats. What’s a bat-loving girl to do?

Find out what happens in these two stories about bats and make your own bat puppet! There are two sessions available – 10:00 and 11:30 am.
