For Adults 18+ and Youth 16+
We will be hiking out with guide David Eberly to see owls in the Pinetum, as well as some areas outside the deer exclusion fence. We'll be on the lookout for Great Horned, Screech, and Barred Owls. Less likely but always possible are Saw-whet and Long-eared owls. Pre-registration is required.
Gates will open at 5:45 am and close promptly at 6:15 am, so please be on time. The group will meet in the Tyler parking lot and return to the parking lot by 8 am.
Intended for all-level birders. Rain or shine. Please wear layers and have appropriate hiking shoes or boots for wet conditions. Bring hiking sticks to assist in challenging terrain and binoculars. Pack water and food.
