For Adults and Teens ages 15-17
Start your day in the quiet hours before sunrise as we explore the Arboretum in search of Tyler’s resident owls. With luck, you may hear or spot Great Horned, Screech, or Barred Owls—and possibly even the elusive Saw-whet or Long-eared owl. Don't miss this rare chance to listen to owls calling under an early morning sky!
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Gates will open at 5:15 am and close promptly at 5:40 am. The group will meet on the Visitor Center Patio and return by 7:00 am.
Restrooms will be available. We’ll walk at a slow pace along paved paths, grass, gravel, and possibly some rocky terrain with gentle to moderate inclines. Please wear layers and sturdy shoes or boots suitable for wet or uneven conditions. Bring binoculars, a flashlight, water, a snack, and hiking sticks if desired.
