Edible Garden Sprouts: Fall Crop

This event is no longer on sale.

Tuesday July 16

1:00 PM  –  2:00 PM

For Ages 4 - 6

July is a busy time in the garden. Now is the time to plant our cool weather crops like broccoli, cabbage and carrots! Get your hands dirty getting these seeds into the garden. Take a look around and see what needs to be harvested, and enjoy our bounty.

Edible Garden Sprouts programs introduce children and their favorite adult to the world of plants and gardening. Children who grow their own food are more likely to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Each program includes time in the children’s garden. Our mini gardeners will learn about the process of gardening by planting seeds, maintaining their young plants and harvesting vegetables.

$10 members, $15 non-members (Fee is for the child only)
