Healthy soil is essential for plant growth. Come with us on an earthy adventure and investigate compost, red wiggler worms and insects that are important for the garden. Then we’ll harvest some summer veggies. Get ready to get your hands dirty!
Edible Garden Sprouts programs introduce children and their favorite adult to the world of plants and gardening. Children who grow their own food are more likely to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Each program includes time in the children’s garden. Our mini gardeners will learn about the process of gardening by planting seeds, maintaining their young plants and harvesting vegetables.
