FOR ALL AGES

Meet Tyler docent and Pennsylvania Master Naturalist Dave Charlton for an hour-long guided hike in a hidden corner of Tyler. Tall trees, fungi, native plants and bird song are all there to see and hear. In September, we will observe changes to the flora and fauna of the forest as the seasons transition from the bounty of summer to the shorter, cooler days of fall.

About your guide: Dave is a long-time Tyler volunteer and naturalist. He is a founding member of our docent program and has recently completed training in the PA Master Naturalist program.

Check in at the Visitor Center, where you'll meet your guide. As with any walk on the Tyler trails, sturdy shoes are suggested. Participants should bring water and perhaps a walking stick and bug repellent. PLEASE NOTE: Strollers may not be ideal in the North Woods. We recommend a carrier to bring an infant or young child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
