Looking to spark your child's curiosity about the outdoors? Join us for Family Explorers: Animal All-Stars! We'll explore the amazing feats of local wildlife and the cool adaptations that help them survive. How far can a flying squirrel glide? Can you jump like a white-tailed deer or make it to the pond like a snapping turtle hatchling before something spots you? Through fun challenges and activities, families will compare their skills with Pennsylvania's animal all-stars. Each child will receive a Tyler journal to track their discoveries, with time at the end to create entries. Bring your journal to future Family Explorers tours to capture all the wild moments of the season. Let's get moving—and learning—together!

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The program is best suited for elementary school-aged children accompanied by an adult. Family and siblings of any age are welcome. Check in at the Visitor Center, where you'll meet your guide. As with any walk at Tyler, sturdy shoes are suggested. PLEASE NOTE: Strollers may not be ideal on some of our trails. We recommend a carrier if you plan to bring an infant or young child. Weather or other factors may adjust the day's topic, but nature will always shine through! In case of inclement weather, the tour will move indoors.

MEMBERS:  FREE

NON-MEMBERS: $18 per adult; $10 per child ages 3-17; children two and under are free and do not need to be registered. Admission is included in your price, so feel free to stay the day!

GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): FREE. When checking in, please submit your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate or inform them that you are accompanying a Family-level or higher member.
