Hike to Round Top: The Original Minshall Family Homestead

This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday December 10

10:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17

Over three centuries ago, Jacob Minshall built the homestead "Round Top" after relocating to Middletown with his family. Join us as we make our way through Ridley Creek State Park to visit what remains of the original homestead. We will learn about the site's history and hear an account of what life was like for the last residents of Round Top.

Please park in Ridley Creek State Park, picnic area #17, where we will meet and hike to the ruins. This is a moderately-paced hike along easily traversed but narrow trails with some small hills to climb. Sturdy hiking boots, water, and a snack are recommended.
