Experience Tyler’s Scenic Loop in the moonlight!
Join us at sunset for a leisurely walk on Tyler’s Scenic Loop. If the skies cooperate, we’ll admire the waxing gibbous moon as darkness falls over the Arboretum. Tyler docent Sue Fredrick will share points of special interest and seasonal highlights. In April, we hope to hear wood frogs and spring peepers singing in the moonlight as we near the pond at the top of the Scenic Loop.
About your guide: Sue Fredrick is a long-time Tyler docent and certified PA Master Naturalist.
This leisurely-paced walk is for adults and teens who are comfortable walking one mile. While most of the tour will be on paved surfaces, we may travel on grass or gravel for short distances. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. The fee is for each adult and each teen. Bring a flashlight and wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes.
Upon arrival, please check in at the Visitor Center, where you will then meet your guide.
MEMBERS (Tyler members, sign in for your discount!): $5 per adult; $3 per youth
NON-MEMBERS: $21 per adult; $13 per youth (includes admission for the day - feel free to stay as long as you'd like!)
GUEST PASS HOLDERS: $5 per adult (please give your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate at check-in)
