Meet the Bats!
Step into the nighttime world of bats and discover the adaptations that make these mammals masters of the night sky. Learn about the important role bats play in healthy ecosystems and find out how you can help bats in your own community. Meet live ambassador bats and learn how Pennsylvania Bat Conservation & Rehabilitation helps bats throughout our area. After the presentation, head outside for a bat release. Bat release is weather permitting.
About the presenter: Pennsylvania Bat Conservation & Rehabilitation is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates injured bats and provides public outreach on the important roles bats play in our ecosystems.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
What to expect:
- Gates open at 6:45 pm
- Check in at the Visitor Center patio upon arrival
- Presentation in the Barn Loft featuring live ambassador animals
