FOR ADULTS (18+) AND YOUTH AGES 15+
This Ramble will follow the Painter Brothers Trail (Red Blazes). This 2.2-mile walk will begin with meadows, bluebirds, and tree collections, then into woodland with a stop at Indian Rock to view the beautiful vista and ponder this mystical rock's purpose. We continue on, viewing some of the highest elevations of Tyler and the vistas below. We will travel the route so that the steepest parts are downhill. This Ramble involves a moderate amount of hiking on rocky terrain and two stream crossings.

From seasonal wonders, living fossils, meadows, watery locations, geological treasures, conservation areas, and unexpected wildlife, Richard will expertly guide you to prime areas for an experience you will remember. Expertise from others will often be on hand for a more in-depth exploration. These rambles are for those who love nature, exploring, and learning. While a description of each ramble is posted in advance, we reserve the right to make last-minute changes, including adjustments for weather and trail conditions. Bring your reusable water bottle and dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Members (Sign in for your discount and register using Adult for this price): $5 per adult, $3 per youth ages 15-17
Non-Members: $18 per adult, $12 per youth ages 15-17. The fee includes admission, so feel free to stay the day!
Guest Pass Registrants: $5 per non-member. Please give your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate at check-in.
All youth must be accompanied by an adult. The fee is for each adult and each youth.
