Toddlers in Nature programs are for toddlers and their favorite adult. Toddlers are all about exploring their sense of wonder and each program includes a story, exploration and time in nature. Fee is for the child only.

Let’s look for butterflies in the trees and fields to learn all about these beautiful insects and where they go in winter.
September 18, Hello Squirrels!
Scamper through a year in the life of a squirrel and learn all about these lively critters. See if we can spot any squirrels getting ready for winter.
October 2, Itsy Bitsy Spiders
Don’t be afraid...join us to learn some fun facts about these incredible creepy crawlers and their amazing webs. Enjoy a fun spider craft and go look for some in the Arboretum!
October 16, Nocturnal Neighbors
While we’re climbing into bed, some animals are just waking up! Learn about these nocturnal animals (like owls, bats and racoons) and how they adapt to survive at night.
October 30, Trick or Treat
BOO! It’s Halloween. Wear your favorite costume and we will go trick-or-treating to visit some animal homes around the Arboretum.
November 13, Leaf Jumpers
How many shapes and colors can you see in autumn leaves? Jump in and find out! Be ready to dance, jump and throw leaves as we celebrate the best of fall.
November 27, Hurry up, It's Getting Cold!
What are animals doing in autumn? They are getting ready for winter, of course! Learn why certain animals stay around and where others go.
