CANCELLED: Tour the Beauty of Spring!

This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday May 22

11:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

FOR ALL AGES

The beauty of spring is hard to match, even at Tyler, where there is magic to be found every day of the year. Join us for a tour led by one of Tyler’s docents, not only to view the magnificent flowering collections which began about 60 years ago, but also to discover some amazing plants you may not have previously seen. Primroses, trout lilies, trillium and jack-in-the-pulpit are easily viewed, along with lilacs, magnolias, crab apples, and rhododendrons. Our docents will show you where to find them, keeping you informed of what’s blooming as the season changes quickly throughout April and May. This well-planned landscape of flowering shrubs and trees, the legacy of Tyler’s first Director, Dr. Wister, is not to be missed. Pre-registration required.

Check in first at the Visitor Center, where you will then meet your guide.
