FOR ADULTS 18+ | PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Lace up your boots and hit the trail with the Chester County Trail Club for a morning of exploration and challenge. Hike 5- to 7 miles through open meadows, quiet forests, and along rocky streams. Climb and descend the varied terrain, and gain a sense of the Arboretum’s natural beauty and the lay of the land, one step at a time.
Please be on time, as the group will start promptly at 9:30 am.
What to expect:
- Rain or shine
- Check in at the Visitor Center, then meet your guide in front of the Barn
- Experienced guide
- 5-7 mile, moderately-paced hike
- Peaceful woodland scenery
- Diverse walking surfaces that include pavement, grass, gravel, and rocky trails.
- Changes in grade, including steep hills
- Restrooms available at beginning and end of hike
What to wear & carry:
- Dress in layers for the outdoors
- Hiking boots with good tread
- Water and snacks
- Hiking poles (optional)

NON-MEMBERS: $18 per adult (18-64); $15 per senior (65+)
GUEST PASS HOLDERS: Please give your guest passes to the Visitor Center Associate or inform them you are accompanying a Family or higher-level member as their guest.
LIBRARY PASS HOLDERS: Upon arrival, please check in at the Visitor Center and present your Tyler Arboretum Library Pass. Please note that you must check out a Tyler Arboretum Library Pass as you would a book at your local library — confirm its availability for this program date before reserving your ticket.
