What Lives in the Pond?

This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday June 27

10:00 AM  –  11:00 AM

FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGES 8-12

As you stand on the deck of Tyler’s pond and take a look around, you are likely to see frogs, turtles and maybe even fish, along with the tiny aquatic plant called duckweed. Look closer and you may see water striders or spiders on the water, patiently waiting for a meal. Join Tyler volunteer Sue Fredrick as she takes water samples and leads you on a tour of the pond and other wet areas around Tyler. We will learn about many of the animals and plants that call Tyler home.  Pre-registration required.

Please check-in at the Visitor Center patio window and walk down to the pond to meet the group.

Members: FREE; Non-members: $15 adults; $9 (children ages 8-12) Non-member fee includes admission for the day! Fee is for each adult and each child. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
