Do you know that Tyler has a collection of over 100 witch hazels that spark in bloom colors of gold, red, purple, yellow and orange at the end of February? On any given day during this time, the intoxicating perfume of this tree will surely attract most garden visitors to their locations. The collection is our showpiece during the grey days of late winter. Join Randy Kobetich, local witch hazel collector/propagator/grower and friend to Tyler, to explore our earliest bloomers in our collection on this tour. Please dress for the outdoors in layers and wear waterproof footwear.
